On 8th Dec.2011 a national seminar was conducted
by Dept. of Psychology on above mentioned topic. It was successful to the
extent that for the first time, many students and some of the faculty members became aware of what
is blogging and how it can be used in
higher education. Many teachers from other colleges of Mumbai and students of
our own college presented papers and competed to win the trophy for best paper
presentation. Students enthusiastically learned how to make blog and were amazed to know that one can use languages like Hindi and Marathi on internet.
Prof. Mangesh Karandikar from University of Mumbai was the chief guest for valedictory function and gave away the prizes for best paper presented. Students from unaided section also enthusiastically participated in presenting the papers and Prof. Khullam, Coordinator for unaided section also presented a paper. I hope to conduct many more such programs in future for students' benefit.
